How To Throw A Hot Tub Party

HOW TO THROW A HOT TUB PARTY!

Refreshments

For drinks we suggest bottled water, juice and sodas.  You may also want to consider non-alcholic beer, or a mocktail.  We suggest you stay away from alcohol because when you are sitting in hot water your metabolism increases and the effects of alcohol are felt much quicker.  Keep all glass bottles away from the hot tub.

Pina

Snacks

Keep the snacks on the lighter side and stay away from rich and/or heavy foods.  The buoyancy of the water, and a full tummy are not a good combination.  Vegetable platters and drips, fruits on skewers, chicken or shrimp kabobs, spring and egg rolls are just a few good examples.  Another great snack you may want to consider is buffalo cauliflower bits.  check out this video on how to make.

Towels

Be sure to have plenty of towels on hand for your guest to use.  You can never have too many.  With guests getting in and out of the hot tub frequently, their towels will likely become damp and have pretty quickly.

Music

It’s as simple as streaming your favorite play list on the hot tub speakers.  While many folks opt for this feature, it’s okay if you didn’t get music with you spa.  Just set up music player somewhere near by, but not close enough to fall in.  Music always sets a tone to a party.  It doesn’t have to be loud to have a good time.

Setting the Mood

Place a table next to the to tub and lay out all the food and drinks so guest do not have to get in and out of the water.  Don’t forget the rubber ducks!  It wouldn’t be a party without several of them floating in the water with you.  You may want to even consider investing in a hot tub friendly game…like water proof Uno cards.  Amazon is a great place to find rubber ducks and water proof games. If your party is during the evening, be sure to turn the spas likes on, as well as firing up an outdoor fireplace and/or turning on outside market lights.

Be Hot Tub Ready

Don’t be caught off guard with unpleasant water on the day of your party.  Make sure the waters chemistry is balanced, the the filters have been rinsed clean, and that it smells nice.  You may want to even consider adding a spa scent to water just before the party.  We have many scents to select from at our store.
